The piece commemorates the tireless efforts and passion of the Franciscan Friars who established six missions throuout Texas over 300 years ago.These weary friars founded San Antonio de Valero(the Alamo) on the San Antonio River in 1718. Fossil stone over 3 million years old. This piece welcomes visitors to the poolside home of the Kuceras. Metal wall piece. Copper and aluminum patina.
